Rachel Chaikof– Lead Developer – Rachel Chaikof is a bilateral CI user who received her first CI in 1989 when she was one of the first 200 children in US to be implanted and was raised with the Auditory-Verbal approach. She is currently attending Savannah College of Art and Design and is majoring in photography. -Visit her blog.

Val Blakely - Moderator -Val is a hearing mom of two deaf children who wear cochlear implants. Gage attends a rural mainsteam elementary school where Brook is soon to be enrolled also. She enjoys volunteering in her spare time and reading as many blogs as she can fit into her day. Visit her blog.
Katie Mielke- Moderator -Born profoundly deaf, Katie grew up in both worlds – the Deaf and the hearing worlds. She has bilateral cochlear implants, yet uses ASL as her primary mode of communication. Currently a student at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, Katie is designing her own major with concentrations in Theatre, English and Deaf Studies. When not pursing academic missions, she can be found at local theaters working with performing arts interpreters as a sign language coach, especially for the touring Broadway musicals! Visit her blog.
